Richard Madison Cooper, Jr., 83 of Moreland went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Born July 23, 1928 he was the son of the late Richard Madison Sr. and Nannie Mae Miller Cooper. He was a retired farmer and member of Moreland First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lorene Crain Cooper; 3 sons: Richard Wayne, Joe Madison (Beverly), and Mike (Michelle); 1 daughter, Suzanne (Terry Wesley) Rousey; 2 brothers: Bryan and Jimmy Cooper; 1 sister, Margaret Dunn; 6 grandchildren: Chris, Melanie, Candace, Chasity, Matt and Dylan; and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 AM, Fri. at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Eric Douglas and Bro. James Harley with burial at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are the grandchildren and their spouses.
